individual training - romanian	Romanian – Individual training for a EU translator Duration: 2004 - 2009 Levels: Beginners Intermediate Level Advanced Consolidation, Special Themes, Business Language Description: This course series was designed specially for a EU translator. Based on the existing knowledge in the area of languages in general, as well as in Latin languages in particular, an extremely high progression rate was desired and achievable in the course. Thus, after a relatively short period of time, the advanced level was reached and the main goals of the course could be tackled: extensive vocabulary, correct sentence construction, fluid reading and speaking, ability to use the language on business level. The materials used in the course were - apart from language and exercise books - higher level (cultural) magazines, Romanian literature - especially modern novels - Romanian films, etc. A further goal was passing on information about the country and the people, as well as about the Romanian society, economy, and politics. To consolidate and deepen the knowledge of Romanian language and culture, as well as to intensify the learning effect, several visits were made to Romania during the course.
