Description: |
Packman and MHS are two applications, which support the design, the approval process,
and the administration of parts packaging, both by the automotive company and by its
suppliers.
The goal of this project is on the one hand to merge two applications with each one's
special functionalities and on the other hand to align the architecture of the consolidated
system to the customer's requirements and standards. For that, the old client/server
architecture is replaced by a modern 3-tier architecture. The data repository is
consolidated into a single Oracle database. The middle tier contains the application logic
and is implemented in Java. The application has a full (MS-Access) client and a thin (Web)
client.

implementation of basis classes and web services for picture management
